Robin Barton spent over 10 years serving as a Communications Officer, Communications Training Officer, Communications Supervisor, Tactical Dispatcher, and Hostage/Crisis Negotiator before entering the private sector as a Corporate Trainer. During her progression through these roles, Robin accumulated invaluable experience in managing crises and navigating high-pressure situations with calm and clarity.
In early 2024, after years of lamenting the lack of advanced training for veteran dispatchers, Robin founded Crisis IQ LLC to help close that gap. A perpetual student herself, Robin is dedicated to promoting the ethos of continual improvement and proving that the ongoing education and development vital to individual growth can also be enjoyable and inspiring.
